Kevin Clark

Hunters and anglers have known of Mr. Kevin Clark, owner of Sportsman's Pride Taxidermy for many years from his love of waterfowl hunting in Hillman Marsh, where he's a main stay. Kevin's passion for waterfowl hunting and waterfowl in general is fully evident in his mounting of all things ducks and geese. Years as a marsh rat have given Kevin the edge in posing bird mounts.
Since 1993, he's kept many a hunter's memory alive through their trophy mounts.

Waterfowl is obviously his favorite game to mount but he's also just as accomplished in all birds including pheasant and turkey.
For those of us who like to spend hours in the field pursuing the antlered critters or elusive predators, rest assured that your buck or coyote of a lifetime will receive just as much attention to detail as that widgeon you took last year, as evident in photo in the below.

Kevin's talents don't start and stop on mammals either. Shown below is great rainbow trout trophy fitted onto an end table. So you anglers out there that spend your year on hard and soft water, don't despair, you're dream catch can also be kept alive at Sportsman's Pride Taxidermy.

Mr. Clark also gives of his time and blind in Hillmarsh Marsh to mentor and host Delta Youth Hunts. As the picture shows below, he's made the day of Delta youth hunter Brandon Wood by helping him fill his limit of ducks for the day.

Sportsman's Pride Taxidermy looks forward to speaking with you and preserving your fishing or hunting memories alive through professional, artistic taxidermy. To field prep your bird in the field, clean any blood off that may be sitting on feathers as much possible - pick the bird up by the feet - gently fold the head under a wing - place into a panty hose to preserve feathers for transport to home or Sportsman's Pride Taxidermy

Furry Critters
Skin past front leg - leaving enough 'cape' for mounting - up the back of the neck - "do not salt" - fold and transport in bag to Sportsman's Pride Taxidermy

FishDo not wrap in newspaper - wrap in towel - take pic of fish for future colouring - pin fins to cardboard backing for protection - "do not salt"
